Hrithik Roshan is looking forward to meet Barbara Mori

Hrithik Roshan is looking forward to meet Barbara Mori: Their much hyped film Kites may have gone down the plughole, but Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori have continued to remain in touch.
Not surprising then that Hrithik is looking forward to meet Barbara when he goes to the US with his family at the end of this month to ring in 2011. Yes, you read it right. Wife Sussanne and two kids will be with Hrithik for what would be a family holiday in Las Vegas.

And since Sussanne and Barbara are thick as thieves, they are most likely to be together for the biggest party of the year. Sussanne has in the past laughed off the rumours linking Hrithik with Barbara, and her friendship with the Mexican hottie has remained intact.

Hrithik too says he’s become indifferent to the rumours. So even as he admits that he might meet Barbara in Las Vegas, he’s unconcerned about the media raking up the rumours again.

Barbara Mori Biography

Born in Uruguay, Barbara Mori moved to Mexico after her parents divorced when she was just 3 years old. She enjoyed a normal childhood in Mexico -- until, at the age of 14, she was discovered by famed fashion designer Marcos Toledo while she was working at a restaurant. Impressed with her poise and uncommon beauty, Marcos offered Barbara a job as a model and it wasn’t long before the up-and-coming beauty was living the high life and rubbing shoulders with the best and brightest in her field.

Once she realized that models generally have a limited shelf life, Barbara began to think about her future, eventually settling on a possible career as an actress. With that realization, Barbara enrolled in acting classes and began the slow process of auditioning.

In 1997, Barbara landed her first gig -- a spot on a Mexican soap called Al norte del corazón. Barbara followed that up in ’98 with a starring role on Azul tequila. Although she spent the next several years appearing in a slew of TV shows and movies, Barbara’s big break came in 2004 when she was cast in the lead role in the high-profile soap, Rubi.

Already a star in Mexico, Barbara was finally introduced to the rest of the world in 2005 with the release of the critically-acclaimed La Mujer de mi hermano. Barbara’s future is bright and it’s just a matter of time before she establishes herself as the next hot import -- think Penelope Cruz or Salma Hayek.

Barbara Mori set to go against Hrithik Roshan

Barbara Mori & Hrithik Roshan
Barbara Mori set to go against Hrithik Roshan: Come November 19, Hrithik Roshan will face rivalry from the most unexpected quarter his Kites co star Barbara Mori.

By aim or by default, Jayantilal Gada who heads PEN Entertainment, is set to release the dubbed Hindi form of Barbara's racy Spanish picture My Brother's Wife on the same day as Sanjay Leela Bhansali is releasing Guzaarish, starring Hrithik Roshan as a magician turned paraplegic.

Jayantilal has a history of ill will with the Roshans and he had prior planned the release of this dubbed movie of Barbara in front of the release of Kites in May to consume into the financial sector division of Kites. Be that as it may, as fate had it, the dubbing wasn’t done in time and, circumstantially, Kites moreover came smashing down at box office.

However now, Jayantilal is manifestly gunning for Guzaarish and has planned to release Barbara's dubbed movie, now titled ‘Spanish Beauty’, on November 19. To beat it, the picture is almost always pitched as a skin flick with heaps of striking scenes of Barbara. Racy notices will

Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori: celebrate Kintaro’s Birthday at suburban restaurant

The most talked about couple these days is no doubt Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori. Their film ‘Kites’ has made a splash in the skies of tinsel town much before its actual date of release.
However, they are true pals even in real life. Sources reveal that the duo were spotted recently at a suburban restaurant to celebrate the birthday of Kintaro, Barbara’s brother, who is in Mumbai, to try out his luck in the bollywood music arena.

Reportedly, it was roughly about three years back that the younger brother of Barbara was persuaded by Hrithik to pack his bags and come to bollywood, where the actor would try and get him some singing contracts. While in Mumbai, Hrithik helped Kintaro to hunt for a nice home and then began the quest for the bollywood break.

Repots indicate that the film ‘Kites’, where Hrithik and Kintaro’s sister Barbara are starring as the lead, he(Kintaro) was supposed to get his break as a playback singer.

He was given the song ‘Flying Kites’, but, the producer and director were not quite impressed with the rendition. Kintaro was thus advised to perfect his art a little more. Eventually, it was Hrithik who got to sing the romantic number in the film.

Last heard, Hrithik was still looking for some work for the birthday boy in bollywood!

Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori Kites: The scorching chemistry between them!

Hrithik Roshan’s dad Rakesh Roshan (who is producer of the much awaited film ‘Kites’) gives us some insight into his latest production  that is creating a rave due to the scorching chemistry of Hrithik and Mexican babe Barbara Mori.
1. Did you know that Rakesh Roshan was about to direct the film but then, all of a sudden, he spotted the talent of Anurag Basu. Rakesh explains, “I was supposed to direct it. Then what happened is when I used to go to every award ceremony to collect awards for Krrish in 2006-2007, besides the big films like Lage Raho Munnabhai and Rang De Basanti, I spotted another film called Gangster. I had never heard about this film.

So I was like why is this small film called Gangster coming in all nominations? I got hold of the DVD, I saw the film and I loved the film. I called Anurag Basu to the office and I told him that I want Hrithik to work with you… do you have any subject? He said, no I make small films of Rs 3 crore and I don’t have a big canvas subject ready.

Then I told him that I have a subject and if he liked it, he can direct it. Because for me, it didn’t make any difference. I had nothing to prove to anybody. Just that my production house has to make a good film with Hrithik. Whether I made it or he made it, it didn’t make a difference.”
2. Is there any difference between the English and Hindi versions of Kites?

“There are four-five songs in the Hindi version which are not there in the English one. So 20-25 minutes are gone there itself and some scenes here and there which have gone. Just to make it more fast-paced. Otherwise the content is the same, the emotions are the same,” clarifies Rakesh.

3. Is Kites a copy of the Hollywood flick ‘Match Point’

Rakesh is quick to deny as he says, “No no, not at all. It’s basically a love story between two people. Their goals are different but they are in love. When they are very close to their goals, they fall in love. What to do? And they opt for love.”

4. Is Kites a sex film?

No! It is not. Director Anurag Basu warns, “There’s also a perception that Kites is a sex film. I don’t know how that got circulated. It’s a simple love story. People shouldn’t come in expecting steamy scenes after seeing the hot pictures of Barbara in the papers and on the Net.”

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori jump to their death, the Picture is end!

‘Kites’ is the most awaited release of the upcoming Bollywood season and it has been making all the right  noise due to some scintillating chemistry between the two lead couples Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori.
As per the buzz, the climax of the film has been leaked and at the end of ‘Kites’ the love birds commit suicide.

A source from Mumbai Mirror says, “Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, who play lovers in the film, die in the end. They jump off a cliff into the sea. As they jump to their death, the film ends.”

And the reason of their suicide? “Both are on the run. The law is chasing them and so is the mafia. There is no other way out for them.”

So, the Greek God Hrithik and the Mexican beauty Barbara Mori end their lives at the end to escape the earthly troubles and re-unite after death.

However, the other lady Kangna Ranaut shall remain alive. Her role is a minuscule one and her death is not warranted.

The film hits theatres this summer on 21st May and is expected to add another feather to Hrithik’s already over laden cap.

Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori: Busy in Mauritius for an ad campaign and Promot Kites

Amongst recent reports that the hot couple of the forth coming film  ‘Kites’, Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori are in Mauritius, busy for an ad campaign, so as to promote their film there too, as the ad will be released sometime in May, it will be made to coincide with the film’s release, some startling news are also pouring in from the inside quarters of Rakesh Roshan camp.
There is news that initially, when Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s dad and the producer of the film, had first met the Mexican model actress Barbara Mori, he was stunned into silence. Now, the reason for this was due to the fact that Barbara had shaved off her hair for her role in a Spanish film called ‘Cosas Insignificantes’.

In this film Barbara plays the role of a mother whose son suffered from cancer. In order to show her support for her son, she too shaves off her hair, in the film.

Now, sources reveal, Rakesh Roshan just couldn’t digest the fact that this bald girl was going to be the lead heroine in his film, opposite his son Hrithik. But, when the director Anurag Basu and Hrithik Roshan saw her, they were convinced that they would want only this girl as their leading lady, and no one else.

Thus, began the task of convincing Rakesh Roshan for his approval. As the director and Hrithik were trying to make him understand, even Barbara put in her word. She said that her hair was sure to grow back fast, and if that didn’t happen, then she was willing to wear hair extentions as well. So, all was settled, and the rest as they say is history!
